Upon finding out that her mother is terminally ill, Delora is unable to deal with the inevitable loss – she avoids discussing the dreaded future by staying away, and working as a gardener. Found crying at her workplace’s cafe, Delora is invited to a theatre rehearsal by the lead actress, Agatha, who hopes to help her. Once the performance begins, Delora appears to be in an alternate world within the theatre, in which she must accept her grief.
